DeadGiant According to Akris, there should definitely be more women in Sludge. Powerful vocals and creative instrumental work make their sound stand out. With the heart of Punk and the body of Doom, Akris delivers an album that should be dominating anyone's "To-Sludge" list. Favorite track: People In The Sky.
Sekator

Sekator Interesting mix of old school doom and sludge, with some nice wailing female vox.

What is pretty unique is how high the bass guitar is in the mix (even overpowering the guitar a lot of the times), which gives a lot of bottom end to this. A rare approach to mixing that makes their sound stand out.

Starts off really strong, tapers off a bit towards the end. Favorite track: Trust.
Steve Rodger

Steve Rodger Doom bands with a female vocalist is well established and loved by many including myself but I don't see why this template could not be used with those bands of a sludgier bent. Enter Akris who also manage to throw in a prog element as well...... BRILLIANT !!
